Once on the site, create an account using an email address or phone number, and a password. When the account is created, a page with icons (small pictures or symbols) along its left side will give you options for providing additional choices.
The icons (pictures or symbols) available to you to make selections, are:
(A person) — Account: This allows you to set up or change your basic account information
(An envelope) — Additional Emails: This allows adding (or changing) additional email addresses; to send notification emails to others you want, for example, family members
(A telephone handset) — Additional Phone Numbers: This allows adding (or changing) additional notification phone numbers
(A “location” pin) — Locations: This allows you to tell the system where you are, so it can send notifications to you based on specific areas that are in danger or at risk. If this information is not provided, the only information the system has is that you are in Greene County.
(Two people) — Alternative Contacts: This allows adding an additional contact persons to be notified. This would be particularly useful for those with special needs, the elderly, or are otherwise at high risk.
(A bell) — Notifications: Allows choosing what kind of notifications you want to receive and how you wish to receive them: by telephone (voice and/or text) and/or email.
(An “X”) — Unsubscribe: Allows unsubscribing the account from the service
(An arrow in a box) — Log Out. Allows you to log out. You can log back in and update your information at any time.
